An appeal is a process for requesting a formal change to an official decision. If a case has been denied, a person usually has a right to appeal the case. In immigration law a respondent or applicant appeals to either:
- USCIS Administrative Level (AAO/AAU)
- Board of Immigration Appeals
- Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
- Central District Court
